Shocking! Atrocious! In a nutshell a huge scam being run by BCA which no one can stand up to because they are absolute bullies! We run a family business and have been purchasing cars for the last two years. Just to give you a picture of how bad the service BCA offers - in the last month we have had 3 claims for 3 BCA Assured Vehicles all which showed that the vehicle had no mechanical defects with the car which turned out to be a lie.

In our last claim, we purchased a Mercedes S Class S350, we put in a claim immediately upon delivery for the central locking not working, engine rattling noise and an oil leak.

The vehicle was subsequently taken in by BCA for repair. When the vehicle was returned to us, at point of delivery, the BCA recovery man found that his recovery truck was drenched in oil, a clear rattling noise emanating from the engine, further as he was driving the vehicle of the recovery truck, the gearbox was making a creaking noise to which he responded 'the gearbox has definitely gone'.

We are extremely appalled at the poor service we have received as loyal BCA customers who have purchased several cars with yourselves. A vehicle that was initially taken for repairs with clear issues evident even to a layman. It is very disappointing that these BCA reports are not carried out to the standard that customers expect.

I am completely bewildered that a vehicle taken in for repairs has come back in worse condition than it was actually given to us.

I honestly think that these BCA reports are carried out in complete ignorance because time and time again there are clear defects evident to a layman with their cars which they fail to highlight!

To add Salt to the Wound, they want to take the car back (and presumably sell it back in auction and mug someone else off), they have not offered to repair it PROPERLY, are not offering me a refund on the recovery costs we incurred and are not offering any sort of compensation or even a simple Apology to say that 'Sorry we sold you a shit car. Sorry you got mugged'.

I highly advise that you buy or source your cars privately or find other small auctions because speaking from experience, if you want to be taken for a mug, these guys are more than happy to give you a taster!
